Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Non-dual Therapy and Mentoring

These Terms of Service outline the understanding between you (the client) and your practitioner (Amy Ward) regarding the nature of our work together.

By completing the intake form, booking, or attending an appointment (in person, online, or by phone), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. Nature of the Work

Nondual therapy and mentoring offer a space for self-inquiry, awareness, and deepened connection with your true nature.

This approach is experiential rather than analytical, and focuses on direct exploration of present experience rather than diagnosis, fixing, or problem-solving. The approach also fully includes how direct exploration of present experience informs the dynamic experience of being human and living life fully and freely in being yourself. The expression of deepening self-connection through relationship is experientially explored through the container of the therapeutic relationship.

Sessions may include dialogue, silent presence, inquiry, reflection, somatic awareness, and experiencing through the felt sense.
While this work can support healing, insight, and transformation, it is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency support.

If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, please contact your GP, emergency services, or an appropriate helpline.

2. Confidentiality

All information shared in sessions is treated as strictly confidential and handled in accordance with UK data protection law and professional ethics.

Confidentiality is central to creating a safe and sacred space for open exploration.

Information will only be disclosed without your consent in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person;

  • Where there are safeguarding concerns involving a child or vulnerable adult;

  • Where required by law (e.g. under the Terrorism Act 2000, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, or by a court order).

Past illegal activity that poses no current risk remains confidential.

For clients outside the UK (including the United States), confidentiality is maintained under UK law, though local legal standards may differ.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

Minimal process notes may be kept to support continuity of our work. These notes, if taken, are stored securely and confidentially, in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

You have the right to request access to your information, correction of any inaccuracies, or deletion of data where legally permissible.
Your information will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except in the limited circumstances outlined above.

All feedback is handled in confidence.

If feedback is ever shared publicly for transparency or reflection, it will only be presented in an anonymised and general way, ensuring that no responses can be linked to any individual.

4. Fees, Cancellations, and Scheduling

Session fees and durations are agreed in advance and payable at or before each session.

At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

If the practitioner needs to cancel or reschedule, as much notice as possible will be given, and an alternative appointment offered.

5. The Nature of the Relationship

This work is collaborative and non-hierarchical. The practitioner’s role is to hold space and share insight, not to provide answers or impose beliefs.

The process invites your own direct knowing, intuition, and self-trust.

The relationship remains professional in nature. To protect boundaries and confidentiality, contact outside of sessions should be limited to practical matters such as scheduling or payment.

6. Online and Remote Sessions

Online and phone sessions are offered using secure, encrypted platforms where possible. While all reasonable precautions are taken to protect privacy, no digital platform can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.

Please ensure you have a quiet, private space for online sessions where you will not be overheard or interrupted.

7. Limits of Service and Responsibility

Nondual therapy and mentoring are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent medical or psychological conditions.

You remain responsible for your own wellbeing and for any decisions or actions arising from our work together.

If your needs appear to fall outside the scope of this practice, you may be referred or signposted to another professional or form of support.

8. Ethical Practice

Your practitioner works in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the Association for Spiritual Integrity, and undertakes regular supervision and professional development.

All sessions are held in a spirit of respect, inclusivity, and compassion.

9. Complaints and Feedback

If you ever feel dissatisfied or uncertain about the process, you are warmly encouraged to raise this during or between sessions. Open reflection is part of the work itself.

If a concern cannot be resolved directly, you may contact the Association for Spiritual Integrity for guidance or formal complaint procedures.

Feedback is always welcome as part of the mutual unfolding of this work - and both verbal and written feedback processes are offered and encouraged.

10. Agreement

By engaging in this work — through completing the intake form, booking, or attending your session — you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms of Service;

  • Understand the nature of nondual therapy and mentoring as described above;

  • Consent to participate under these terms; and

  • Agree to the handling of your information as described.
